This morning 7-17,
as I flipped chanels to whar I thouht was an HSN
chanel, I saw a Magic Jack infomercail for the 2nd
time recently.
Anyway, I called what must be an automated
order number 1-800-617-2104 which HomeShopping Network has NO record or affililiation with, thinking I coud call HSN, if I
had any probems.
Anyway, Iwent ahead and placed an order with
Magic Jack, even though Ionly have a dial-up
landline phone, using ATT.
Before finshing my order, I felt I made a mistake
in both orderng BLACK JACK and in some of the
info I gave. So I quickly tried hitting phonebottons
like 0 repeately, yellin out agent, operatr, etc, all to no avail. Using a debit card, my vs a true matercard, I was imediately charged 49.99,
which, upon redialing 1800-617-2104 2-3 x's, I
realized it was a CLOSED AUTOMATED number
and NONE of the HSN persoel at 1-800-284-3400,
... 3100... 3900, knew anything about MAGIC JACK or any order Id made.By the way, I never
got a confirmation or ref. No, cs. Telephone no.,
either on the phone or via thier website, etc.
Yet, they had no problemtakng 46.90 out of my
acct imediately that ay take 14 days to receive
something that I tried to cancel before I even fnished placing my order. So now Ive read maybe
a dozen blogs about MAGIC JACKs terribl/NO

Get away withths crap... I know, because of suckers like me. I thought I was more careful
by nowbout ths stuff. Guess I'm out 50 bucks.
Can I somehow cancel y rder ad get my
debit back.
