Highly suspicious and possibly a SCAM

On October 14 I called CCS' toll free number and requested documentation to verify the amount of my debt. The representative then informed me that I would have to contact Farmers Insurance to obtain written documentation to verify the breakdown of the amount I supposedly owe, and at this point, I truly believe that I don't and am a victim to a fraudulent scam. On October 16, I proceeded to contact Mary Sadrieh, Supervisor of the Daly City branch for Farmers Insurance and she informed me that should be able to supply all the documentation I need. I told her that a rep from CCS advised me that I would have to contact Farmers Insurance to get the documents I needed, and so she wrote down my claim number and asked for my phone number so she can look into it and get back to me on this issue. After hearing this, I immediately called CCS again the same day only to be notified by a different representative that my monthly payment of $75.00 was due on October 10, and I only had a 5 day grace period, so since that period ended I broke my payment contract with the agency and now owe the full remaining balance of $4,629.92. I told the rep that must be an error because I have been making payments every month for the past year and that they have always had a due date of the 19th of every month. I decided to visit the website and to my surprise, it is now telling me that I have 10 days to pay the remaining balance when only the previous day that I was on the website, it offered me the option of printing out payment slips for each month for my payment plan up to 2013. I was not informed that my payment was overdue when I spoke to the rep on October 14th. I find it highly suspicious that 2 days after I contacted CCS to verify this debt, all of a sudden I "broke" my contract and now I have to pay the remaining balance when there have been no issues in the past year. Furthermore, I did not receive a notice or even a courtesy call to inform me that I owe the remaining balance.

I have already made $1,475.00 as of October. I am demanding a full refund of the $1,475.00 that I have made as of October or whatever the difference is that I did not owe after proof of actual amount owed which I know is not even close to over $750.00. There weren't even minor damages on the other party's car on the date of the incident which was September 08. I incurred more damages to my own car than I inflicted on the other party. My car had the whole front smashed with a cracked radiator while the other party's car barely had a scratch on their bumper. I had a passenger with me so she is a witness to this. Not only that, the driver at the time had no problem driving his car away after the car accident.

I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission. I will not hesitate to file a complaint with the State Attorney General, if necessary. I am doing the same for Farmers Insurance.
