I purchased 2 "trail" horse off of craigslist from Sherman Deach in April. Cooper and Bowe looked like 2 great QH's. Sherman stated that the horses were trail horses, camping and hunting type. They seemed calm and stood quietly while I examined them. Bowe is a 15 hand Tobiano Paint and Cooper is a 15 hand palomino. Both around 15 years old. Sherman told me his cousin Rocky had them for 3 years while he had cancer, then he died. Horses had not been ridden and needed fixing. I'll say... they have never been ridden. I have spent upwards of over $10, 000 to get these 2 sweet horses examined, trained, etc. I was scammed. This guy is a piece of work. The stress of this and the cost has been unbelievable. I will continue to work to inform the rest of the horse community to be warned of this guy and his practices. I wish I had read this sooner.. but, I am taking great care of these 2 geldings. They deserve it. I won't let a crook like Sherman Deach ruin 2 beautiful horses like this.
