I went to this place (694 Wines and Spirits) to celebrate my friends birthday on a Friday night. I ordered a beer from the bartender and charged me 8$ for it, where in the menu says it cost 7$. I went back to the bartender to complain and told me that he charged me taxes on it. I asked for a receipt, gotten a hard time to get it, it listed; beer 7$, taxes 0.68$, total 7.68$, amount paid 7.68$.
I then asked him for my changes 0.32$ and refused to give it to me by simply stating 'i don't have it' The manager thought there was nothing wrong with this behavior and acceptable.
In conclusion, i was double taxed on the beer i ordered as we all know that taxes on alcohol is already included in the prefix price in the menu, gave me a really hard time to get a receipt, the receipt was incomplete as it stated that i paid 7.68$ where i actually paid 8$, was refused to received back my changes. They practically stole money from me in front of my eyes.
