I made reservations for a room in jan in vegas through tripres for the celine dion show in march. I was told about travel guard insurance it would help if i had to cancel because of airline, an illness or a canceled show. They did not tell me i had to buy the tickets from them, to be protected. I had the tickets already before contacting tripres. When celine canceled her show i called that day and was told to call travel guard, they told me i could not get a refund because the tickets were not bought through tripres. I called tripres and pretended to want a room and was told about travel guard again and no mention of having to get tickets through them to be covered for a cancellation. I have tried to get chris elliott involved to help me get a refund, but no response from him. I am 69 years old and this trip was a big deal, however i am afraid to even go to the internet again to help with a trip.
