We booked tickets to The Ladies Day at Aintree in England with Ticket Solutions, the tickets arrived in good time with a covering letter saying that the enclosed tickets were for the Ladies Day event on the 13th April. We travelled the 300miles to the Aintree racecourse and arrived in good time, when we presented our tickets at the entrance we were told that we had the tickets for the following days race the Grand National and so we were denied entrance, I called the UK office whilst there and a very unsympathetic woman told me that they had made a mistake and sent out the wrong tickets but it was our fault for not checking the tickets, they called me back in twenty minutes and said that they would not be giving any refund, I said that the letter from Ticket Solutions confirmed that the tickets were for the Ladies Day event but all she could say is that they make mistakes and its not the letter but the tickets that would get us admission, so much for their 200% guarantee, she did not even apologise just kept saying that we should have read the small print, so if you want to use this shower be careful so your special event is not ruined like ours was.
