I was looking at my online statement and noticed a charge of $9.00. I quickly did a search on WLI Reservation rewards (the name of the company charging my card), as I did not remember authorizing such a transaction. I was quick to discover this website and and the website that charged my account.
I first contacted WLI by the number usacomplaints.com had listed, and told them I never authorized the charge. They told me by entering my email that I agreed to said charges on my account. I never did agree to said charges though, I had closed the webpage after finding out what it was. (it was an added banner that looked like the end portion of my Fandango bill to get tickets to see a movie)
I told WLI this and they promptly canceled my account and offered me the 9 dollars back. I then went about contacting my bank where they had charged me.
The bank informed me that because the transaction had not yet posted yet, they would be unable to file a claim. Which was the truth as when I checked online I knew already that the charge was not fully authorized. I will call back tommarrow making sure a claim is filed again WLI stating that I did not authorize the charge on my account.
