This was the worst experience I have ever had with an online store. My sons second birthday party was ruined.

I've been looking at this website for a few months, picking out exactly what I wanted, and making the final touches. I didn't want to get anything until I knew about how many would show up to my sons party. I ordered my items 2 weeks before his birthday party. I ordered $200 worth of birthday supplies (from cups and plates to toys and games). I also spent the extra money to get priority shipping (2-5 days) so that I knew the party supplies would be here on time.

I ordered everything online on Feb 2. The website claims tohave items processed and shipped within 24-48 hours. I got the confirmation email on Feb 3 saying my items have been sent. I was very happy to see the quick turn around and excited to know that I would be getting his party supplies at least 3 days before his birthday.

Friday, Feb 10th roles around and I have yet to see my package. I didnt realize it wasnt here until I got home from work around 6pm. I checked my orders status on the online tracking system and I noticed that FedEx didnt receive my order until Feb 7th and that it wasnt scheduled to be delivered until Feb 13th, one day AFTER my sons birthday. I tried calling Birthday Manias customer service, only to find out that they are only open Monday thru Friday and close by 1600.

Then I called FedEx to see if I could pick up the package myself (according to the online tracking system it was in the town I lived in, but not scheduled to deliver until the 13th). FedEx informed me that they were closed on Saturday and Sunday, meaning I would be unable to get to his party supplies before his birthday party.

As a result, I now have to drive around town and get all his party supplies last minute, miss going to 2 events that I scheduled to do in the event of his birthday (Zoo & Swimming) because now I have to make sure I have everything for his party. The poor boy can tell Im stressed because he keeps giving me hugs. I just hope he has a good birthday party and he doesnt remember Mommy being stressed out.

I have refused the package via FedEx and I will be calling Birthday Manias customer service on Monday asking for a FULL refund of shipping and the cost of the party supplies. I am hoping that I will get ALL of my money back, if I dont you will see another post about Birthday Manias poor customer service.
