In September, my 7 year old son asked me if he could sign up to do film/modeling like the kids in the catalogues because to him it looked like fun. My husband and I drove to the In Models Talent Agency in Burlington,
When we got to the agency, we walked to the front doors of the building where there was a old lady waiting in the lobby for us. She took us to the 3rd floor where she pointed us to a tiny office no bigger than a closet, where we were introduced to a slim woman with long blond hair.
The thing about this agency is, there is no phone number to contact the agency for any reason. You can email all you want, but they will not respond to you in anyway. The website has a email comment box for you to contact them (and someone will contact you very shortly), which they never do or will.
They did not promise to put my sons pictures on a website, but she did tell us our son would get alot of work and by Christmas.
When I was given a copy of the receipt after signing my son up, I didnt see a phone number on the letter head, only the email from the website [email protected]. I didnt notice there was no contact number until after she handed me the form. When I asked for their contact information she told me the girl in the first room would "take care" of us on our way out and pretty much pushed us out the door.
When they gave me my copy of the form, I couldnt read her handwriting it was extremely illegible. It was as though it was written that way on purpose. The woman was very ignorant and needs to be stopped before more people get scammed! ANd I want my money back!
