The new owner Mark at Bobby Lew's Saloon is a real jerk. They offered us a last minute gig about 5 days in advance of a major holiday, and then when it came time to pay us what they offered us via text message, they only paid half and accused us of overdrinking our agreed-upon bar tab.
This was not true, as our tab was actually $5 less than what we were given, and the bartenders were so wasted they couldnt even pour drinks by the end of the night, but Mark basically tried to bully us with his "many degrees, " and "$450 an hour lawyers" and made up a bunch of lies, saying if we tried to collect the money we would be responsible for paying his lawyer's fees and would seriously regret it.
He insulted my family and myself, although he had never met me in person, and texted me late at night (almost 2am) clearly drunk and belligerent talking trash about how his lawyers were going to ruin me. Don't play here, the area is terrible, the surroundings are rat-infested and ghetto, and the new owners are a* holes.
