I am a working musician. I was contacted by Ben Kulp as a music agent to provide music for a grand opening of a senior facility. Mr. Kulp books musical acts as well as his own string ensemble under the name innocenti quartet and innocenti strings. The owner of the senior facility asked me to start earlier than the contract called for and to play later than the contract called for and assured me of reimbursement. Mr. Kulp refuses to acknowledge my claim for overtime and has not responded to several emails. I have used booking agents for events for forty years. This is the first time I have ever been ripped off. That is saying a lot as the integrity of music agents in general is probably lower than used car salesmen.
