The saddest part of this SCAM is I think that Aly fata* Kaback and Michael James (formerly known as Michael Fomkin the scam artist based out of Florida) actually believe what they are doing is not a scam!
I went to some "open call" in a dark room after waiting for an extended period of time while employees scrambled to keep ppl under control. Upon entering the room it is very clear asking questions about their operations is not allowed as I witnessed many ppl get escorted out for doing so. I thought it was bizarre but I also thought that receiving a phone call out of the blue when having never entered my information on their site was also. Sitting there listening to Miss Nancy Marx (former "talent" gone employee for Aly) introduce Miss Fatass herself I knew I was in for a sales pitch... Much like that of a time - share. Even though they denied it, I sat there to get the full gist. After name dropping for an hour, Aly was really starting the work the crowd! Then at the wrap of her longwinded speech, the crowd is shown a video of an "event" where ppl have 1 on 1 time with Real Experts or as I like to call... 8 hours of hell where you stand in line waiting to hand your "marketing" material to the "experts" such as Ryan Colby, (one of their experts who is a notorious scumbag false agent who has a record for harassing young boys) The Phantom of the Opera himself (who has what kind of pull getting anyone a job?), and a couple casting agents (who can get a nobody cast as an extra?) who say Thank You and you have no way of contacting again and most likely they don't keep the 2-pocket folders ppl worked hard to prepare!
Anyway-
Once the speech is over you go for a one on one interview with one of the "Talent Directors" where you have 5 seconds to decide it you want to spend a couple thousand dollars and go to these 8 hour events every 6 to 8 weeks and pass out folders with your information on it. (Side note which they glaze over telling you, your initial payments do not include going to the actual events. You must first pay $1,500 to get to go, then an additional $300 per event after! -which is supposed to cover food and head shots-but if you look up the name of the photographer that they use for your "industry expert photos" he is just in fact a local photographer who does free lance paparazzi work!)
If you get this far and are "accepted" as they like to call it, they tell you you will need to make another aptmt where they can basically sell you photos which you "just need to help your career take off"! If you are lucky enough to pretend you can't afford this service which they say "spots are filling up fast for" then you save yourself another grand!
The I found out the real truth... The "experts" are paid between $500 to $800 just to go or be a guest speaker at these events! They claim to get 30 new experts each time to increase your chances of "making it" in the industry... However they put videos up themselves of the same no-body stars and experts... So who knew are you really meeting? They look for talent aka ppl who they can scam into paying, bring in D-List Celebs and experts to speak and sit at an event for the money and pretend to care about the talent paying to see them (even to say the experts have no idea nor do they care how much each person pays to attend).
"It's all who you know!" Says Aly numerous times through out the speech. If that were true, why doesn't she get a real job within the entertainment industry instead of a sales job where she is scamming people?
VIP Talent Connect is a scam, much like One Source Talent... Which wouldn't you know are operated by the same people? I caught onto that quickly after Aly tried to blame One Source as a scam when the non affiliated companies share an office. How funny.
