Company information: [email protected] Colorado Springs, Colorado United States Willie and Val have a morning show on country's KCCY 96.9 here on the front range (Colorado Springs and Pueblo listening audience). They invite callers to comment on current topics and win prizes. Sometimes they just put people on (after taping and editing) with random discourse (look that word up Willy & Val). The problem is that they figure out who you are and if, in their all holy opinion, you are calling too much (ever heard of a loyal listener there Willie & Val? Besides you don't have that many callers at 6 in the morning according to what YOU told me) then they click you over to the "busy" mode when you call, or get you on the phone, blow smoke up your kilt telling you that they appreciate the calls, then dump you from the line and make sure that you can't get through — appears that they watch for your phone number." Wily" Willie sure recognizes a voice. Over the past year I have risen early (4:30 A.M.) every day because I want to do a good job and make some things happen for a neighborhood in need of revitalization — I work hard for a living Willie & Val which includes getting up early AND working physically restoring properties and helping pople not just yapping into a mike) and sometimes it has appeared that I was the only listener they had since no one was calling in so I called to get things going a little. Sometimes it worked and sometimes not which shows that the listener audience is not what you might think. Willie even encouraged me by telling me on two occasions "man you are the funniest caller we get". After that the blacklisting began — can't get through, cut short by Willie, told "call back later and we'll put you on" nonsense like that. So much smoke has been blown up my kilt that my butt smells like a barbecue pit (see? I can have a sense of humor even when ticked off! Maybe I am funny). Willie & Val — my cell phone records show eleven calls in four months. If that is too much for you then you don't want friendly and loyal listeners. Willie — grow the cajones to tell a grown man that he is calling too frequently — or is that an anatomomical feature that you lack? BOTTOM LINE — Don't listen to "Willie & Val" because they are disrepectful and dishonest. PS — if there are typos Willie & Val it is because I am again up and out the door after putting in nearly three hours on the net and making adjustmetns to make this day a productive one.
That station is so out-of-order that for two days no one even knew their email address so I could send this link to my buddy Willie.
And his sidekick Val.
They do not respect their listeners, they lie when Willie feels that someone is funnier than he is, and I luv the way he calls ya "brotha" when he is lying to you. Makes ya feel realy warm and special.
Come on there Willie — say something funny now — or are you too used to using the "f" word on the air?
