Regarding One Source Talent Agency, The first day we came in they sat Me, my sister, and father in a room along with many other families or should I say victims. They gave a big speech about all the people they helped including a young girl they helped with her singing career.
They tell you they create comp cards and porfolios for you at a professional level. They then bring you individually into rooms to ask you questions about you and make you feel very confident by saying things like "You definitely have a unique look." OR "You can be a model and we can help you get there." They than draw you into a second interview and call you back to seal the deal.
My dad and sister came back for a second interview and told my sister that she has a unique look and that she will get a job easily. They said it is a $495 one time fee for materials and a $39.95 monthly fee for them to update your comp cards and such. After signing the contract they told my dad and sister she will have to do her own homework and apply for jobs herself by logging on to her "One Source Talent Account" as she waits to hear back from them. They never gave any materials that my dad paid for hench the $495 fee. They said my sister would have to write her own cover letter and brought her back into their office a couple of times.
The times she visited their office they tried to lure my dad into purchasing pictures amongst other things. They will continue to suck as much money out of their victims until they get exposed. They use digital cameras to take photos which are supposely "professional" but with a digital camera that is hard to beileve.
They don't give you what you pay for. They say they will guide you and tell you they will always be there for you, but it is a different agent everytime. Don't let them scam you, don't let them even get the chance, they call everyone back for second interviews, there really is no competition, don't pay them any money at all, please do your research and don't fall victim to these money hungry scums. One Source Talent are a bunch of scammers.
