Myself and about 30 other extras were hired by Sal DiMartino of The Extras Group to do a commercial for The Florida Marlins. We were told that we would be paid $100 dollars for the day.
We worked about 11 hours in May and the commercial was used on TV. I was never paid, and I was contacted by six of the other Extras who also never received payment, and as far as I know none of the Extras were paid for our long days work.
The Extras Group phone is disconnected, and the website has shown "Under Construction" for the last several months.
We were robbed of our pay for our day's work.
My letters to the Marlins owners and to the production company, Shoot Florida Productions, remain unanswered.
