We rented some video games for a nintendo 64 and returned the videos. They were late, but were returned. Next thing I know they are on my credit report alleging that I owe them over $200.00 for video games that werent returned to their store.
I know they were returned, because I am the one that dropped them off. I am sure someone working in that store either misplaced them, or stole them. They didnt even contact me about the situation and eventhough I had moved to another city, I still had personal references whose numbers were the same and whom stayed in the same residence.
What can be done about this? I have disputed this with the credit agencies and it still comes up me owing them, when I don't
