I used to go to the Tulalip Casino and the little Quil Ceda Creek Casino and won an average of 4-5 "jackpots" a year. I still ended up behind but chalked it up to my entertainment costs. I won't be going anymore, at least not nearly as often unless things chage. I don't know if it's the new video machines that are just set different, tighter, but I haven't even come close to breaking even and have cut back my entertainment at not just the Tulalip and the Little Quil Ceda Casino but all Washington state casinos. I always come home down and not even close to what I used to come home with. I may have been able to in the past absorb a loss of $200 in a month as I would come out the next month ahead at least that amount when I won a jackpot. Now when I play and talk to other slot machine "regulars" it seems they all have noticed the very much tightening of winning machines. I was at the Tulalip on a Thursday night a month or so ago and it was a ghost town! I know things are tight but I think it's a big mistake to "tighten up the payouts" to pay for the new hotel etc., as it will backfire! People will finally have enough and not just chalk up losing all the time to just an off night but see that it just isn't fun anymore when all you do is give your money to the casinos with very little chance of hitting a jackpot anymore. I can't afford that expensive and most of all unexciting entertainment anymore. It seems pretty predictable that I will come home with empty pockets. So maybe in the end that is fine, I certainly will find something I will enjoy to spend my money on that I used to spend there. It was fun while it lasted!!
