I signed up for Netflix, the 2 week trial.
I did not like what the service offered so I canceled my membership within a day.
They had put a $15.32 charge on my card and have held it in pending.
Their response " It won't go all the way through and you will be refunded in 1 to 3 business days"
Well, guess what it is now 4 days and the charge is still on 'pre-authorisation"
Maybe they don't consider that as "going through" but it DOES affect my available balance in my bank.
Then it begs to question if it was a two week trial why did they put a hold on $15.32 in the first place and what right do they have to "hold" my money in the first place.
"Your credit card won't be charged"
Well, I beg to differ.
IF my money isn't refunded I will be talking to a lawyer and they will be up for a lot more than $15.32
It's not the money that bothers me you know, it's the principle.
These guys are crooks, stay away from them.
