JS from First Take Entertainment asked me to film his fashion show at the Forbidden City club on July 23. The day before the show JS (the owner) asked me if it was ok he didn't pay me the day of the show as agreed. But later. As he had broken his car in accident. I said OK. The day of the show another cameraman left right away because JS would not pay him on the spot as agreed.
JS later told me he would meet with me on August 1 to pay me and talk about another project.
On August 16 someone finally answered my emails. JS or his brother saying there had been an accident and they'd pay me. He'd call me 2 days later and ask for my #. Two days later I got no phone call.
I have done more than filming his fashion shows. He found me on Craigslist.org and filming was all I had to do for $200.00
But that included free from my part:
videotapes,
parking,
coming to rehearsals in Venice Beach
agreeing on delaying payments
editing 6 video clips and posting it online. Removed from YouTube since then.
He seemed to be a nice guy but he doesn't seem to have kept his word. I don't believe there had been any accident. He has to pay me for my work.
