I saw their ad for models and actors when I had an account with Hollywood Profiles, which is another scam. They have all unpaid jobs! Anyway, I live in Philadelphia P.A. I traveled all the way to New York, to go get ripped off by Model Talent. I walked in and I met a very unprofessional, ghetto acting receptionist. Then she handed me an application to fill out. Then they had me sit and wait in this small, busted looking room and they had videos on. Then it was other people sitting there waiting to be seen. I'm not conceited but the other people that was waiting was dressed and looked like they just walked off the street corner. One of the guys looked drunk. That's when I had a very bad feeling that I came to the wrong place. I had dressed up, had on heels, dress pants and a nice, clean button down white shirt. The room was very hot, muggy and it felt like a sauna and look like a closet. That's when the guy Brad came out. He took me into his office. Lucky for him, at the time I was just starting out with my career and didn't have pictures. He started saying he liked my look and he had agents that wanted to work with me. Again, lucky for him I was just starting out, didn't know much so I fell for the scam!!! I gave him a $100.00 to take some pictures than I was going to give him the rest when I got paid again. I went back to Model Talent from Philly and did some more pics but I lied, told him I just paid rent and I did'nt have any money. He said ok. To make a long story short. The pics were not industry standard and they look like pics I could've asked one of my friends to take with a regular camera. Don't go to Model Talent aka The Network (MTN) The guy Brad is a con artist, makes a living ripping off innocent talent! He tells everyone the same thing! He tells the worst looking people that they're beautiful. He does this to boost your ego so you can pay him, thinking that's your ticket to get into the industry. The agency he says he's affiliated with don't even exist. I researched it on line and called the Better Business Bureau! Don't fall for their scams!!! If he was legit, that place wouldn't look so shabby and dirty. They wouldn't charge you anything except for the 10% fee once you start working!!! P. SCustomer!
