My Daughter Inlaw had gotten e-mails and interveiws with MSA MODEL SEARCH AMERICAN and after I paid $995.00 for an event in Las Vegas postponed the event until July 31st - August 2nd 2008 and just today July 15 they sent out an e-mail cancelling the event. I can't get in touch with them now and read all these bad things about them.
It seemed like the real deal when we bought into this. We went through an interveiw process and since she was 17 at the time they even had to interveiw me. They made it sound like you had to qualify for the event with a long drawn out process. Of course, they got her pictures from My Space and told her she is what they were looking for.
It didn't take long for her to talk me into paying the money. I trusted she knew who they were and it was a real event. I even called the hotel and at that time they still had it scheduled. Is the hotel in this scam?
I can't beleive this can happen with no recourse to the people who took the money.
