I noticed last month that my account was overdrawn. I researched my records and saw that ENT Entertainment Book had taken out $9 and as a result I was overdrawn and charged a $35 fee from my bank. This month I checked to see if the same company took out money and it had.
I called my bank and this company has been taking out money ON DIFFERENT DAYS OF THE MONTH for over a year. That's at LEAST $150, with the overdraft fee. To the bank it looks like I have signed up for a membership. Because it's such a low amount and I get direct deposit. I don't see it.
This company gets you when you order something from many Web sites. For one person it was Ticketmaster for me... They can't even tell me, but it had something to do with Clear Channel.
HERE'S HOW THEY GET YOUYou purchase something with your credit card, then you HAVE to sign up for a free "trial membership" for 30 days and if you don't cancel, then they start taking money out. So, the company doesn't get in trouble because you "were informed" the bank doesn't do anything, because it's a membership... Oh but they can cancel your card! And they get off Scott free!!!
