Brunton Corporation owns Vino Venue, a winebar with high tech tasting equipment in San Francisco. Vino Venue ordered wine from our winery and had 30 days to pay for the product. When 30 days had passed no payment had been received. We attempted to collect via phone and invoice mail. We got no response. We had our attorney contact them to no avail. They ignored the attempts to contact them.
Their arrogance is tremendous and thought the invoice amount was relatively small, they refuse to pay what they owe and continue to do business on a global scale.
They are part of the problem in this country today. They are theives and get away with it with the small producers they ripoff because of their size and complexity of the law. They know it simply is too costly to make them pay.
I would caution dcompanies that would do business with them to require payment before product or service is delivered. It would be even better to do business with reputable companies and leave Brunton to it's own devices! Brunton's arrogance and dishonesty should come back on them. "The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step".
