Talent management agency Big Shot Live recently sponsored an online talent competition in which they promised to bring one winner a day to Hollywood to meet with industry insiders.
Part way through the competition they decided not to bring the talent to L.A. After all. Those who had followed the rules and did everything BSL required were completely ripped off.
Later they promised that the top vote getter in each of the daily categories would win a prize, but, in several instances, they didn't choose the top vote getter, instead giving it to someone as low as 5th place.in other words, they lied, which isn't unusual in Hollywood, but it clearly shows they can't be trusted.
They also allowed numerous other rules to be broken without consequence.
While most of the talent and their family and friends who voted ended up with nothing to show for their efforts, Big Shot Live owner, Madison Road Entertainment, made millions.
Now they are gearing up for season two. Avoid this worthless so-called management company and their online competition. You have as much chance of becoming famous using this site as you do of shooting a hole in one on the golf course.
