On September 3rd, Ken Andrews, executive producer of the South Bay Music Awards approach me about a loan to sponsor his upcoming awards show held November 10th at the Performing Arts Center in Redondo Beach, CA. After some thought I decided to grant the loan of $15,000 in which he agreed to repay in addition to 50% of the box office, the night of the event. Leading up to the show I personally spent an additional amount of $5,000.00 on items such as (presale tickets, employee salaries, venue rental fees, sound person ($2,500.00 the night of the show, desktop computer, laptop computer, office space and other items). The show finally happen and the box office only sold 5 tickets and the rest of the audience were with performers and were granted VIP passes. To make a long story short Ken Andrews spent of my loan and the money received from the performers on personal items. After the show after I approached him about repayment his response was "That's show business, you're burned". After farther investigation I spoke with other people who have been through the same situation. This man needs to be stopped.
