Matt and Joe's is a bar where I live in Belleville. First (to start off...) the waitress, after bringing me 3 drinks, took two of them back not even 5 minutes later. I had paid for all three. Then... I asked a different waitress for two drinks and she told me that since it was after last call I had to pay in advance. Well, is that not a liquor license violation in the first place (selling drinks at 2:25am???). So anyhow, being drunk (it is my own fault for being nieve, but...) I paid in advance.
Of course, as you can guess, I never got my drinks. "Matt and Joe" had trouble getting their liquor license in the first place. This is a situation for the B.B.B. For sure. Maybe I was drinking, but I was at a bar and it's their job to sell me what I will pay for (or have ALREADY paid for!) until I am too drunk and they cut me off (which I have no problem with at all). So boycott Matt and Joe's in Belleville, Ont. Canada.
