I bought a painting on a Princess Cruise. The contract states "Frame as shown during Auction." The frame at auction was shown with real glass. Upon receipt of the item from Global Fine Arts Inc., the artwork was sent with plexi-glass.
I contacted the company and they refused to admit the item was shown with real glass although it most certainly was. I offered to return the item and have the plexi-glass replaced with glass and they refused.
I then got an estimate to replace the plexi-glass with real glass and they refused to discount the charge for the cost of doing so.
They have refused to work with me to rectify the situation.
