The agent, Mrs. Gibson, told us the average days on the market for a house to sell was 180; what she didn't say was that she wanted to reduce the price every 30 days until it did. She never said how much each "reduction" should be or how she came to the conclusion it was over-priced... Other than it hadn't sold. Our comparable market analysis showed that we were in the right price range to start with. She terminated our listing agreement after 30 days because we wanted to wait two more weeks before reducing the price to see if there was an offer. I will never do any business with Remax again.
