The board of directors of our small condominium in Fort Lauderdale hired Already Chute (also doing business as Ecolo Odor Control of Florida) to repair our trash chute doors. We obtained two other bids, both of which recommended replacing our doors as they were too damaged to fix. The president of Ecolo/Already Chute told us that they were repairable and the other companies were just padding their quotes.
He offered to fix our doors for half the price of the other bids to replace them and give us a 1 year warranty on the work. After 30 days, the doors were again broken and we were cited by our fire marshal for them. He came out, fixed them again just long enough to last till the fire marshal re-checked them. Within a few weeks, they were again broken. This process of breaking/repairing went on for months until he stopped taking our calls at about the 9 month mark.
Exactly 1 year from the date he took our $2800, he called to say the work was not under warranty and offered to replace the doors.
Ecolo Odor Control / Already Chute is a scam artist. They also lied by saying they were "licensed". They only had a city business license, not contractor's license. They are based out of 801 Aurelia St. Boca Raton, Fl 33486.
Avoid Ecolo Odor Control / Already Chute like the plague, they are only after your money.
