Indian Creek takes advantage of their loyal tenants

What happened with Indian Creek was that they kept my money unfairly. I was loyal and paid the rent on time. I was happy with the previous management until someone came over and screwed everything up. Their lack of communication between managers and corporate is the joke of the day. I reported a wasp problem they had on the roof. Wasps were getting in my apartment thru the fire place. I am allergic to bugs and some food. My life was at big risk there by getting an anaphylaxis reaction if bitten by a wasp. I explained to them about the situation and was not taken seriously. I spoke to one of the maintenance guys and showed to him the wasps on the roof. I reported the problem to Sandie and again nothing was taken seriously. I called and called and email Indian Creek. It took two days to fix the wasps problem. I had to email Luma corp. The Indian Creek manager finally decided to email and call me back. She was blaming he wasps problem on another apartment’s patio where they were coming from supposedly. The current tenant on the second floor who has a kid witnessed this and so did the maintenance guy. I replied back to the manager. The wasps problem was on the roof and not someone else’s apartment like she claimed. It was very obvious that the manager came up with that stupid excuse to save her tail from the email I sent to the corporate office. It took two long days of constant calls to Indian Creek and finally something was done about the wasps problem after I reported the corporate office of Luma Corporation.

The people hanging out at the Indian Creek apartments (not tenants) are scary and I did not longer feel safe. Police have been called several times. Thiefs broke in more than once and stole computers. Weather problems caused damage to the premises and that took weeks and weeks to be fixed. You can see pictures on apartment reviews website. Bottom line I did not feel safe anymore. The apartment always had problems with the kitchen sink leaking water and damaged the floors. My partner who is disabled almost fell. My pans were damaged because of this problem. I always had to contact the corporate office in order to get things fixed fast. The drainage from the bathroom ceiling in the shower area that caused stains on the bathtub was a never ending problem. Yes it was fixed but it stained the bathtub. Who had to pay for it? You are right. I did. Their old stove that they had was a joke. The moving out time came over. Thank God. I spent the whole weekend cleaning and left the apartment spotless. I even rented a shampoo machine weeks before and cleaned the carpet to make sure it was neat before moving out. I returned the apartment keys to one of their workers in the office and discussed of what I did (cleaned the apartment and made sure everything was in place). I was happy there months back. I even posted good reviews then but everything took a different turn when the new manager took over. I am not joking. You can judge by the pictures and other tenants bad reviews. Where is my $300 refundable deposit? Indian Creek decided to keep it. Where is my refundable pet $150 deposit that the manager said it was on the way? I am still waiting. The next thing I know is that they sent me a $19.00 check that was left from my $300.00 deposit. They claimed that damage was done on their already old stove, stains on the bathtub and stains on the carpet. Wow! I was insulted. That will make me a Pig. You can investigate with the current tenants about how my “home” looked at Indian Creek. Bottom line is that my refundable pet deposit $150.00 was never refunded to me. Where is the pet refund that Sandie said that was on the way to me? Its been 3 months now and I am still waiting. I was counting to use my “refundable” money (as stated on the apartment contract). The new manager did not like the fact that I had to report to the corporate office. Is that the reason why I haven gotten my money back? Indian creek sucks. The new manager is lazy and careless.indian Creek apartments should be investigated. They are taking advantage of people and getting away with a lot of stuff. You can check the apartment reviews website and the bad reviews. There are even pictures posted.indian Creek and luma corp stole my money and I want it back.
