Unbelievable. Obama tells them to help and what do they do? Make it impossible while making it look like the applicant is at fault. Unbelievable hubris. Unbelievable hold times, disconnects, ignorance, rudeness and total incompetence. This is not how I started out with Chase. I was a happy customer, willing to back up my choice to give them my money. I feel like someone is punking me every time I get a call from them—no one who calls me has any idea what the last person at Chase told me. They tell me that the last representative doesn't actually exist, or never said what I have on record or that I have to start all over again AFTER WAITING FOR THEM TO MAKE A DECISION! The worst is when someone calls and says, finally, don't worry, I can help! And then you wake up. I'm sorry, but every single person working to help me keep my home is evil, cold-hearted and deserves whatever ill befalls them for working for such an awful company. I spend $25 to fax a book's worth of documents, they call me two months later to say they can't read a few numbers and I have to re-fax. I don't have a fax machine. I live 20 miles from a fax machine. I don't own a copy machine. I own a home i was able to afford until the stuff hit the fan—the stuff that this stupid program is supposed to help shield us from and Chase knows damn well they can just wait it out until another administration or just plain old entropy sets in and they can have my beautiful home and I have nothing left and a stellar credit rating goes to hell because they don't want to help. Period. Evil does exist and this is the form it takes.
