I recently sold my home through www.fidelityflatfee.com. This company has a web site where you can list your own property on the Realtor MLS for a flat fee of just $249. According to my research they seem to be leaders in Flat Fee MLS listings. At lest they are in my area. The impressive thing is that they tell you exactly how many homes have sold over the past year… Not just how many listings they have!!! They also advertise your home over web sites (in addition to the MLS). You just can’t beat that price! In the end, after our home sold, we ended up paying just 2% commission to a buyers agent which was less than half of what our previous Prudential Broker wanted us to pay. We saved about $15,000! Were so glad that company’s like www.fidelityflatfee.com exist. Everyone should at least check them out! They are top quality!
