11/04 - scott beaitman director of finance, called me stating he had a buyer for my timeshare and his company's legal department was bringing legal action against creative vacation solution's stating they were commiting fraud. And that his company would retreive the 1287.00 i trusted them with to sell my timeshare. Then he stated i needed to give 1792.00 to secure an escrow account with the bank of alantic which would be totally refunded after the sale was complete (which would be soon since the potenial buyer's made a deposit of 3000.00 on the time share 11/03, and gave me a confirmation# to give to the special currier when my "15200.00 check" was delivered. I asked if his company had a website, the url i received was only partially correct, but after looking around, i found it. I was amazed at all the complaints this company had against it and that one person stated the exact amount of a retainer fee and selling price of their timeshare. I'm calling my credit card company to stop the transaction, which scott stated to use a visa or mastercard because discover had a 500.00 non refundable fee. And he told me when the verification department called to only answer their questions and if i had any questions to call him. Just reading the other complaints made me think twice, espically when scott's approach on the phone was like a used car sales man. If this company can prove me wrong, i would be superised and apologized. I just call this company's customer service voice mail box is full. I called scott beaitman directly, had to leave a message. If i receive a return call i will discuss the complaints i have read and the one i wrote.
