We recent had a toilet installed by Lowes. After installation, the toilet was very wobbly. The technician said there was nothing he could do because the flooring was uneven. Worse yet, after he left we discovered the toilet was leaking dramatically on the left side.
Subsequently, we called a plumber and he was able to stabilize the toilet easily using some wood shims. He showed us that the wax ring had also been improperly installed.
I would never recommend having Lowes do an installation; we have had much better luck with home depot.
