Chandler HOA. Want to live at an HOA so petty that they spent thousands of dollars in legal fees to fine a resident who posted criticism on a Facebook page they created? Want your HOA so deep in your life that they take screenshots seconds after you post on your page and fine you for it? Let’s put aside the legal issue that an HOA has ZERO jurisdiction to do an HOA fine over an online post, but is this the hostile community overreach you want?
Like so many others, I strongly believe Magellan and the Chandler HOA is very corrupt. They are intent on silencing anyone who questions them. Magellan may be keeping tabs on current buildings Boards - I don’t see any other reason why the Chandler HOA would take the actions for Magellan that they do.
Magellan is aggressively defending their future buildings by trying to silence any critics. Wouldn’t it be easier for them to just follow the laws in the first place?
The Chandler HOA appears to be unnecessarily overspending on legal fees to further this objective.
Take a look at the Lakeshore East resident Facebook group- you will see loads of men harassing women who post anything critical of the neighborhood. These posts frequently get deleted by administrators who don’t want the neighborhood to look bad. They do a great job of hiding things, most who find all this out leave. It’s a shame. Magellan missed a real opportunity.
Oh, by the way, the Chandler has sent HOA fines of upwards of $5000 for anyone who posts online any criticism of them. That’s definitely not legal to fine someone with an HOA fine for an online post - no jurisdiction for that, but they don’t care about laws and do whatever they want.
