I keep on receiving signed letters from strangers representing Anchor House Financial that my home in under pre-foreclosure and requests I contact them to discuss options. My home is not under pre-foreclosure. Apparently, they sell bogus lists of homes they say are under pre-foreclosure and will cost $199.00 for the list. When you find out the listed homes are "NOT" under pre-foreclosure, don't expect a refund. It will never happen! What I don't like about this, is that strangers will show up at your home asking if it is under pre-foreclosure and if they can look at it. My gated estate now has "No Trespassing" signs posted at both entrances to my property. Violators will be subject to arrest and criminally prosecuted.
