I had an A/C go out 5 months after purchasing a Colonial Home Warranty for $398.50 and they refused my claim because I was unable to provide a home inspection report, I did however provide a report from a licensed HVAC engineer certifying my unit to be in normal working order 2 months after the house purchase date. After 5 weeks and he first technician that failed to turn up at all, I now have a very upset tenant (95 degrees here) Colonial are refusing to cover repair costs due to the absence of the home inspection report. At no time when taking my money did they advise that it all hinged on this report. They are a bunch of crooks and thieves, I would never purchase home warranty again either from them or anyone else-they'll do anything to get out of paying a legitimate claim. Be warned, they are professionals at this and they will screw you to!!!
