Westchester County, Peekskill New York, 10566. Child Protective Services is not protecting our children. Children are placed in the care of known child molesters and abusers. Our children are not safe in the hands of the system.
There is a sad state of affairs and prorities at the Peekskill New York Child Protective Services. Our children are in danger, unfortunetly the mistakes will be recognized after the next childs death or near death occurs. Its a documented fact that most of the Cps workers are ill equipt, unexperienced and have other agendas and the welfare of our children is not their top priority, but covering there behind is. Last week the manager was called after I and my husband where notified by the abuser that the Cps workers informed the abusers of our identity. The call was made to Cps again after my nephew mother had not feed him in days, she beat him and the wounds where on his torso, our nephew was scared but willing to finally tell what his mother and paternal family did to him, he was threatened to secrecy. We again contacted CPS with this information, the CPS worker visited our home took my nephew back to his abusive mother and proceeded to queston the child in the presence of his mother and paternal family member. My nephew was terrified with fear. Ms. Ortiz Supervisor was contacted we requested to bring the child to the offce so he could tell what was done to him. Ms. Ortiz denied the request stating the child was questioned and didnt say anything. How could he with his abusers standing right in front of him. Be very careful in your dealings with Ms. Neirada Ortiz & Gibby Thomas, in addition the site manager. Beaware of giving your true identity, the Peekskill NY CPS office has a history of notifying child abusers about confidential information submitted to the CPS Hotline. It is also well known that family, friends and associations are affliated with the Peekskill office, which means a person reported to cps may have family or friends employed at the peekskill office, so beware. Diversion tactics, instead of reviewing records, files, etc. CPS practices ignoring information concerning children abused by family including sexual abuse. Children are placed in the care of known abusers, while ignoring the allegations under investigation. So innocent already abused children are placed in the care of another abuser. Another diversion tactic attacking the credibility of anonoymos reporters although their is documented abuse at there disposal. They also report personal information to people in the community and neighborhood divert attention from a abused child and dircting attention to the CPS reporter with the intentions of having the reporter of the abuse appear as a deranged drug addict. Peekskill is a very small community, someone always knows someone employed at CPS. This information is documented in the event any child is hurt or harmed because of CPS's neglect and abuse of power. Its not a matter of if a child will be in the news, but when. Their deadly irreversable practices are reported and documented. The maltreatment and abuse of our children is at the hand of many abusers, CPS and Westchester County. One hopes if the Cps system breaks down hopefully the Court is the catch basin, but thats not so. Judges are questioable too, payoffs and favors are done for Family and friends at childrens expence. This issue is occuring all over the country and the media is not reporting these issues.
