The department of children and families closed a case regarding a false allegation on 10/22/09 against the father of an 8 year old boy, and warned the mother not to use the child as a pawn in marital disagreements. After the mother wrote the office of the governor of Florda to complain about the closed case, and a case closed by the local sheriff's office, the Florida Governor's office had both cases re-opened. The mother's letter contained several lies, yet no investigation or verification was done, and the governor's office took action. The DCF responded and also took action, and have persecuted me (the father) in the manner of a witch hunt. Florida DCF attorney Patrick Halnon has: Lied to my private attorney Craig A Sonner claiming a requested recorded interview did not exist. This interview shows that the allegations are likely to be false. Delayed the release of aforementioned interview which he claimed did not exist after the father had it sent to his office by law enforcement. Refused to review the aforementioned interview when requested by Attorney Sonner.intentionally scheduled a hearing regarding supervised visitation, and sent notice for said hearing via US Postal Service less than 24 hours prior to the hearing. The defendant and attorney missed the hearing because the notice was mailed the day before the hearing. Been informed that the minor child was forced to make a false allegation by the mother, yet refused to investigate this. Refused to evaluate or acknowledge evidence to support this. Kept the child in the custody of the parent responsible for parental alienation and false reports to state agencies and law enforcement without investigating this. Refused to investigate claims of false allegations, causing the state to spend thousands of dollars unnecessarily. Mr. Halnon has only a few years experience practicing law in Florida and has no interest in the well being of a child, or parent, but only "winning" a case without merit at the expense of taxpayers, a child, and father. How many other victims will this monster terrorize in the name of his career? He and those like him must be stopped!
