UIA of Michigan has really gotten under my skin now. Last night i was supposed to get my benefits paid as usual after 10pm. They were never paid last night and to my surprise, not today either. The UIA office is closed the Friday after Thanksgiving. Their phone system doesn't tell you that for some reason. I had to go online and search just to find this out, it wasn't even on their main page.
Between the screw ups and non payments, ive had my fill with them.
I'm assuming that i won't get paid till Monday and i'll probably have to call them in order to get it, so my weekend and bills are completely shot. I can't pay them and they are due pronto.
I understand that many companies are off today (friday) but this is just ridiculous.
I was told my one of their agents that people who call and complain don't typically get paid very quickly, so when i do contact them, i bite my tongue and suck it up when they screw up. I'm so mad right now and so upset but can't do a thing until Monday apparently.
I'm curious if anyone else is having a hard time with this Agency. It was less stressful getting laid off. Lol!!
