I have sent my written notice to let them know that my home will be moving out of the Southfork Mobile Home Community, CMH Parks, by the end of July. My rent is paid through the end of July due to my check that their Bank misplaced in March for my April rent so I wrote them another check for my April rent even though my check had cleared their Bank.
Finally the misplaced check that cleared their Bank on March 20th was credited to my lot rent account on May 22nd. I paid my June rent in person on May 30th but no one told me that I already had a credit for another months lot rent.
My Credit Union and I worked for weeks tracking this check. It was my Credit Union that notified me on June 3rd that the check did go to CMH Parks. I have a strong feeling, the Park would have intentionally not notified me about this credit.
I have been a responsible tenet in this park for 10 years. I have kept my yard up, paid my rent on time and never caused any problems for anyone in the Park.
I have had UPS delivered packages taken from my deck from the uncontrollable children across the street, tenets on either side of me parking in front of my home sometimes blocking my drive.
The water main on the Park side broke and I received a very large water bill. I talked to the management of the Park and they refused to help me pay this bill. The lot rent continues to increase every year. This year they are charging for pool passes to use the pool.
I could go on and on but I won't because it makes me angry at myself that I've stayed as long as I have. It is very expensive moving a mobile home from one park to another so if you are considering mobile home living you should visit with some of the tenets before signing a lease.
