I was just talked to a pretty young lady from Clean Water Action. I had never heard of this organization before. She said they were out trying to get signatures for the latest "clean water" assault from evil corporations! She threw out a bunch of statistics that seemed outlandish. I asked where she had gotten the numbers. She claimed they were from the EPA.
I have been looking for the stats from the EPA but can not find any. Not that I trust them to the hilt anyway. I asked some questions about her organization. She said they were just people who cared about clean water. I said I would look into the organization and let her know.
They are more into Global Warming then anything else.
If they knock at your door and claim to be just concerned about water... Read the fine print and DO-NOT give them money!
