I purchased an ad for a memo board for the local Fire Department in my town Paducah, KY. I asked for their web site and the phone number to check out the company. I called my local fire department and they were indeed doing a promotion with adds but wasn't sure who the dept had hired to complete the job. So I assumed that this was for real.
I went to the website and it was up and running. I really had a bad feeling about it from the start. But, I was taken for $600. I will report this to my atty general in KY, but will also send it to the atty general in IL. I want this person put out of business and hopefully some of my monies returned!!! I thought I was helping out my community. I hope this helps someone else not to get ripped OFF!!!
