I noticed on my credit card purchases online that I had been billed for an automatic renewal of $39.00 for a year of classmates.com. I never saw anything that allowed them to bill me for the second year without some kind of authorization by me. I have a personal
policy of not signing for automatic renewals in general. When called, they told me at the call center that they could do nothing about refunding the charge which took place on Jan. 5. I then talked to a supervisor who told me it was their policy not to give refunds.
An outrage. I am disputing this charge through my credit card company and will report back in several weeks.
