Netspan Fraudulent Refund Tactics

In Dec I decided to try out for a post office position, little did I know what i was getting into...

The post office hiring process was slow and it took them almost 8 months before offering me a postal test. I took the test, and was never given any results and led to numerous dead ends regarding any type of employment.

Netspan claims to be the "host" company. Not directly linked to the USPS, but just a distributor of postal exam testing materials. Its refund policy states you must provide (along with the testing books:

1. You must provide a copy of your letter of ineligibility from the U.S. Postal Service.

2. Your Return Authorization (RA) number must be issued no more than 60 days after the postmark date on your letter of ineligibility

I followed both of these steps and returned by postal testing supplies a week before Christmas of 2008. After numerous attempts at contacting the Netspan on-site supervisor, I recieved no follow-up info on my refund, and have been told by 3 different company reps that she will return my calls at her "earliest convenience". I was told by one Netspan representative that my refund had already been processed and was in the mail... By the next time I called back another rep told me their computers had no trace of me ever being in their system. This entire venture has cost me 160$ so far (130$ for the books, 30$ to ship them back).

As a warning to all future applicants... Do not go through this company!
