While making promises to reimburse me for fostering and using my vet services to care for their very sick cats, KittyKind apparently had no intention of reimbursing me for the cost of $25,000 in vet fees for the year 2004.
When their Director was busted for animal abuse in NJ, the new Director claimed to have no knowledge of my fostering or vet care or oral promises made by previous director who was and continues to be her best friend.
She has since been replaced and the new Board of Directors claim that the cats in question were never theirs to begin with.
In Civil Court the case was dismissed because of lack of paperwork.
The Judge however, made it clear that he believes that KittyKind took advantage of me.
After posting my story on the internet, I've received many other people's stories of similar mistreatment.
