I worked in the Earth and Space Sciences Building, Geosciences Machine Shop for 20 years. I have been out on a five year leave that is almost up. Below is an email I sent to a bunch of people a year ago about my ex-wife abusing the system and her powers of her position at SUNY Stony Brook.
Well, Mrs. Hoversen has done it again! Last Wed. July 3rd 2008 at 10AM I called her at her office at SUNY. Very nicely I asked her how I could get in contact with my daughter Krysten (who I knew was working part time at SUNY, again by her mothers powers of string pulling). That's it, just wanted to know how I could talk to my daughter.
Mrs. Hoversen told me that my daughter was off limits and that Krysten hated me. Mrs. Hoversen has done everything she could over the last ten years to discredit me in Krysten's eyes.in the course of the conversation Mrs. Hoversen informed me that I was going to be paying child support for Krysten until she turned 23, just like I am still paying for Thomas who is 23. I do not know how she gets away with this.
Mrs. Hoversen then told me she was going to have me arrested for breaking the order for me to stay away. I told her that the order was only for 5 years and was expired at which time she told me it was extended to ten years!!! Mrs. Hoversen called the SUNY Campus State Police and reported my phone call.
At 10AM on Saturday the 5th of July I was awaken and taken from my bed and turned over to the SUNY Stony Brook police. Being that I am in very poor health my wife Karen insisted I be taken and evaluated in the hospital. I need about 10 different medications daily which the police did not even want to bother with.
The SUNY State Police officer missed his day off and went on overtime, he went with my wife to the drug store to make sure all my medications were legitimate. I take many heart medications, anti-depressants and mega doses of pain killers such as Oxycontan 40mg 3x a day and Oxycodone 2 to 4 tabs 8x a day and Vicoprofen as needed. The State officer had to stay with me the entire night at the Suffolk jail!!!
All because of "mrs. Patricia hoversen's" abuse of the system and her powers (again)!!! Who's going to investigate this person??? Why does she get to collect so much money above and beyond the ages of 21??? Where are those college annuities i set up??? Why doesn't anyone at child support respond to these questions??? And why does the state police have to arrest me for a suffolk county police matter?

My name is Paul W. Hoversen, I am 55. I am divorced over 10 years, I am disabled over 6 years now and my second wife, Karen (54) has lupus and is also disabled. We live at 18 Puritan Avenue in Mount Sinai. My X wife, Patricia Hoversen, vowed to destroy me and after 10 years she has done a good job of it!
We have had cars reproed, bank accounts taken away and 2/3 of my SS garnished. Electric, water and phone has been turned off many times and as of this email we are in great danger of losing our house. Most important is we have little money for our medications, food and heating oil! Karen and I are now destitute because of this one person.
The X wife works for SUNY Stony Brook (in a high ranking position) and makes more then $80K a year (plus works other jobs off the books), she lives in a house (that my father and I built) in Port Jefferson Village that is worth over 350K. We had two children together, Thomas, NOW 23 and Krysten now 20 soon to turn 21!!
Patricia Hoversen had Thomas declared ADD disabled at 18, because of this I am still paying "CHILD SUPPORT" for him. Thomas did not graduate high school and more then two years later his mother gets (buys) him a high school diploma, not a GED! Krysten is in collage (SUNY Buffalo) and besides being and honor student and getting grants both my children when they where born had 100K college annuities opened for them.
To this day I do not know where this money went to? Thomas is very smart but very lazy, his mother hates him because Thomas reminds Mrs. Hoversen of me. She only keeps Thomas around to collect the money. Thomas has a car and delivers pizza and also car hops (making tips of $200 on a good night, his words) Thomas sleeps in her basement and avoids his mother as much as he can because she is so mean to him.
Thomas also has told me that his mother gives him no money. Thomas talks to me while Krysten hates me because of her mothers brain washing, I have not seen or talked to Krysten two years. Patricia Hoversen is a very smart lady with a CPA and real state license, she makes undeclared money on the side.
Patricia Hoversen knows lots of important people and can pull lots of strings. She vowed to destroy me and has made good on her threat. I am a collage graduate and have worked as an R&D Machinist for over thirty years! I was injured on the job (at that time I was making 65K a year).
I have paid all my child support, ON TIME, and had over a 760 credit rating until I could not work any more. I have gone through all my saving, sold almost anything I owned of value and am at the end of my rope. Patricia Hoversen doesn't need the money she is taking from me and she keeps filing for more all the time.
She has so much money she purchased a second home in Canada. Mrs. Hoversen has also taken Thomas and Krysten not just out of the state without notifing me and getting my permission! But out of the usa for weeks at a time! MRS. PATRICIA HOVERSEN FEELS SHE IS ABOVE THE LAW, BUT WILL USE IT WHEN IT BENIFITS HER NEEDS!
She has a good friend that is her lawyer and it's easy for her to keep up the pressure because of this. Karen and I are now destitute, Patricia has even found a way to take Karen's bank account, one without my name on it. You ask why we do not go to family court and file for a reduction? Karen and I have tried several times.
It is a zoo there, both of us can not stand or walk for more the 15 to 20 minutes tops (on a good day). Family court, where we have to go for modifications to support orders, you have to be there at 7am, no later then 8! They open the doors at 9am and the horde of people push and shove to get in before they close and lock the doors (about 1/2 hour after opening).
The lobby is full (like cattle in a pen) and that is the amount of people they take for the day. Karen and I can't even get through the door! We called and wrote to complain and they sent us paperwork for a teller conference but the paperwork is just to difficult for us to understand.
My SS is about $1800.00 a month which Patricia Hoversen is taking $1200.00 of! A few months ago I paid up my overdue child support in full, $18,000.00 (only because of a relatives help). You would think that Patricia Hoversen would have accepted the $18,000.00 and called off her vendetta after over 10 years, but it only angered her more and she filed new papers for more money, AND GOT IT!!!
We have lost our car insurance because we could not pay it. We also just lost our homeowners insurance! Foreclosure is imminent. Karen and I need help!!! Can you help us and put a stop to this abuse of the system by this vindictive abusive person???
