My husband and i live in lockwood community corporation, a trailer park. My husband moved here because the low monthly fees allow one to save money and spend money. We did not come here to live around apathetic, filthy people who live like white trash. So, the problems are,
the foundation our house is on is sinking the back of our home because flooding, stagnant rainwaters from improper drainage has rotted the grounds. Heavy rains flooded our living area, and only our living area, we are a row of 3 homes in the bad flood area. When the flood waters came, it rose 2 feet above our grounds and the septic tank riser contents, (shit, piss, and other excrement) mixed into the rainwater and pooled around our living area.
The so-called maintenance man drove by to look at the mess, but that's about it. Nothing was done to help the problem. And the good old boys working at the fire department came out of nowhere with a tractor and pushed the flood water on their property towards our home. Creating more stagnant water pooling. My husband drove up to the tractor and the firefighters were standing by watching, they were smirking and laughing at us.
When we pulled up closer some of the firemen walked off slowly, because its only funny from a distance you have to have balls to laugh at someone to their face and all they had was ignorance. My husband told them to stop pushing the water onto our property, they turned the tractor around, before doing so, we were told by the fire chief that the water would just drain. Like saying our home is a drainage ditch.
I called police to file a complaint against the firemen,
and the same fire chief that was by the tractor showed up with the cop that was going to take my complaint. As if the big, bad, redneck was going to intimidate us so we would not complain. The fire chief apologized to us, and said the fire dept. Would donate some drain rock to try and help the level the grounds. My husband decided we would accept his offer instead of filing the complaint, but i do not trust these people. They dumped enough drain rock to fill a grave, but nothing that would fix the problem. And the rock was dumped not in the area it was needed, but behind the fence of someone else's house. And the lcc maintenance did nothing to help, although residents pay them every month, they did nothing. The redneck bigot that works in the office, tracy, one of the managers told my husband she would let him borrow a wheelbarrow to move the rock.
This was july 12th the rock is still there.
And the so-called managers gave their 30 day notice at the country bumpkin meeting on wed. Aug. 9th. Running away from responsibility.
My husband and i were told by faith tyler, a board member of the high and mighty so-called corporation, that the ground maintenance is our responsibility and the lcc would not do anything. Funny, because i spoke with the district attorney and he told me that it is the responsiblity of the corporation.
Its so frustrating, because when rednecks, and good old boys live so close to the mountains, they start hallucinating, and they start to believe they are above the law.
Excuse after excuse is given when complaints are brought to the "board." one resident complained so much and saw nothing done by the so-called management, they just gave up, believing they had no rights to action.
My husband and i took pictures of the flooding and he presented them at the meeting. We have yet to see what happens.
Another trailer trash problem going on is a privacy issue.
My husband bought his home, its paid off, and he pays his
rent every month. We mind our own business and live our lives.
But some people here believe auditory voyeurism is the new head trip. For the first time, a policeman came knocking on our door saying a neighbor was complaining about noise. I told them to mind their own business or i'll report them. I am in my own home and minding my own business and i have the right to do and say what i please. Its so ridiculous that some stranger is listening into our own home and then reporting us for it.
Its invasion of privacy. But the holier-than-thou
Country time white people living here think they are in 1888 alabamea and they can do whatever thay want to people who are non-white. My husband and i are italian and mixed diversity, so its a task dealing with the pitchfork people from one of david duke's fantasies come true.
Lockwood community corporation is gross and the people
will only make you feel welcome if you resemble your typical church-going klan member.
