Received a letter claiming to be from the "Local Records Office". The letter gave a date to respond by. It contained information about my recent home purchase such as sq. Ft., sale amount and parcel number (all public information). It is phrased to imply that this is the only way to get a copy of your deed.
Google Maps save me a drive down to the address which was of course, a UPS mailbox location. After searching a little I also found a news article on the same company.
