I got a guide named Value Maps of the Superstitions (by Amy Mosier, my maiden title) to Bruce Fischer to become printed. I examined him out and he appeared legitimate. He explained he couldn’t submit it under Golden West but that I really could under its part, The Guide Business, a “Self-Publisher”. The charge could be $6000. It'd have now been taken care of completely under Golden West.
I'd noticed that before from about 50 additional marketers and so I had been run-down by that time. I thought I'd get funding. We created a deal in Nov. 2005. It stated that I'd get an ISBN quantity and it’d be achieved by Feb. 2006.
I'd get 600 books.in February I went directly into evidence a galley. There is still no address. They explained to return per week later. I returned. There is still no address. I returned per week later. They ultimately gave me the address to evidence. They mentioned return per month later for the publications.
By this time around it had been previously after dark deadline. I returned. The publications weren’t completed. They didn’t truly provide me a solution. It appears as though these were managing my publications just like a laugh. I returned in July and lastly got my publications. After I got house, I understood they didn’t possess the ISBN number. This quantity is for that bookstores so they can stock, monitor and make reorders.
You can’t set a guide in to the big chain bookstores (Barnes and Noble) without it. I didn’t contact the writer about that since their customer support sucks and that I didn’t wish to delay another six months for fixed publications.
Their attitude is slow. It charges $300 for that writer to document ISBN using the Washington office. He did this simply to conserve a measly $300 after I offered him $6000. He also set Wonderful West whilst the writer, not Guide Business. This isn’t fair since that will have intended compensated by him. I thought I'd sell the textbooks anyhow.
I can’t manage an attorney and he realized it. I tried the galleries with a little success. I attempted to market on the web with less fortune. I'd to stay for mother and pa shops and Bookman’s, which at-best gives just $2 a duplicate. I offered most of the publications away to gift. It simply wasn’t operating. Psychologically I’ve shifted. It’s ok that my publications didn’t function.
What’s not ok is the fact that I still possess a $6000 charge on my charge card. Today it’s been switched to a combination mortgage. I don’t be eligible for Section 7 and Section 13 hurts since you still need to settle. This writer is likely to be really tired about that account. I’m unsure he’ll do anything-but I'm likely to begin creating a large fascination, to even the BBB. It has all messed up my economic existence and it’s totally destroyed any confidence I’ve had in marketers.
I've always desired to create lots of publications. I don’t believe marketers in general are sincere individuals. I’m confused about just why there are no grievances using the BBB about him since undoubtedly I’m not alone he’s completed this also and I’m confused by different marketers who operate for his “Character”.
Should you submit with Gold West, you’ll regret it.
